SOOC Saturday Shot #2
This is my second SOOC shot that I am sharing. I wasn't planning on joining in this week but once again, my friend Sarah has encouraged me. It's great to have a friend who will support you, teach you, and challenge you when you need it most...and this week I really did need it. Even though photography has been a lot of fun, it has also been a little frustrating...and a little overwhelming. It's definitely good to have friends when you need them. BTW, this is a shot of the kids taking a break from swimming...which is few and far between. They stopped to read a book which is always nice to see...and capture. I suppose I should have captured the book...oops. Happy 4th of July!

Beautiful children....also I think it is best that you din't capture the book. I like it that you are left wondering what they are looking at.

how sweet! i love how they are both so absorbed in their book!
Sometimes it adds to the story to include more detail (like the book) and sometimes it adds MORE to exclude it and leave your viewer curious. I like the fact that you left it out of this one--- could have been a bug or a bloody scrape and it leaves me wondering what has CAPTURED them.
Of, course though, I love the fact that it was a book. :)
